Hi everyone, I have very little experience on using a mill.
I just bought this mill. It is a Pacific FT2. I have found very little information about it on the internet.
I don't even know where it is made. I suspect Spain, but could be wrong.
It has an R8 taper, 3 phase 2hp motor, and x power feed.
I can't get the quill feed to work, is there a manual that can be downloaded that explains what all the levers do?
And when I tighten the drawbar whilst pulling on the brake lever the spindle jumps up and jumps the teeth in the head on the reduction gearset. Is this normal?
I have fitted a single to 3 phase vfd which works very well.
