I can’t seem to find a good way to adapt my 20N chuck (JT5) to my Bridgeport, any solutions? I can’t even find a straight shank adapter, just morse taper adapters.

Get or make an R8 (or whatever) to parallel arbour, set the head over to the required angle and, using a fixed tool in a vice, machine the end of the arbour to the correct angle. Simples.

LOL! yah.. it is.. "simples".. but...

A "solid" R8 with JT already on it costs about the same as the solid R8 with straight stub you plan as "starter" meat.

In both cases, cheap enough that it is hard to justify DIY of one from a cold start, or even the other, modified.

'Specially if you only need the one., Lybarger's Corollary applied means the next chuck acquired won't have a 5 JT but sumthin' else, anyway..

I do have two 20n chucks, but one is for the lathe and I ordered the MT3 to JT5 already. The rest of my chucks are JT4 and smaller and those seem to be easy to find. Been paying $30 for NOS Jacobs adapters.
