Just bought a Bridgeport
Just bought a Bridgeport now have to learn how to use it. Hope to be able to move it into my shop in a week or two after the seller a retiring machinist moves some larger machines. Looks to be in good shape and I trust the seller who says he has known the machine since the 60-70’s. Not sure of the exact year. Guessing 60’s. Comes with a good bit of tooling and a horizontal chuck attachment. Comes with two bridgeport vices. Has a 1.5hp variable head. Going to go tinker on the machine before we unplug it for move. Dro turns on but only one light comes on.
Will report back as I know more.

Your horizontal chuck is a rotary table with a "chuck" mounted on it ,nice acc. to have. On the other hand used BP vises ain't nothing to write home about, not much better than a Chinese cheapo.BTDTHTS.You will like the vari speed !
