I have an HLV-H that I’m rebuilding.
It’s a 1972 and has the threaded spindle nose.
All The spindle lock positions are also
all rounded out.
Would you swap spindles just because
you like the tapered nose better or leave that alone?
Also, since the spindle lock positions are rounded out, I am either going to have to re-machine those in-between
the current positions or put a replacement on.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on these subjects?
