Quick Guide for VMC 600

I have a 'new to me' VMC 600.

The software is...
NC = 280600 08
PLC = 278215 03

I notice the user manual seems be be unobtanium.

So can someone give me a quick guide to basic manual operation ?
(i tried alot of buttons and not much happened.

I just want to establish everything is working and to understand it before embarking on changing the controller.

Found 2 HEIDENHAIN manuals on the 370.

Powering up the machine now that it's in my workshop.
May be a power issue as I am using a 3 phase portable generator - until my electricity company comes to upgrade me.

So when i pres the "I" button to power the motors - it gives an "Axis Drive Fault".
Any ideas as to what would cause that ?

Sometimes CNC questions get answers right away here. Some times they do not as mostly manual machines are discussed in this area. If no answers try CNC Machining at the very top of the forum. Copying and pasting would save some typing.
