    Default Servo encoder repair

I have an mts 30m4-48 DC servo with a bad encoder. I believe it is a Centroid rebrand of and SEM servo. I am not having any luck finding a replacement encoder. Does anyone have any tips on going about finding and replacing encoders?

My first shopping place! No, they have servos, but can't find the encoders.

Just an update. I disassembled the encoder and hit it and all the connections with contact cleaner. That seems to have settled the encoder count erratic jumping around. I copied all the parameters off the encoder, so hopefully that will give me a lead for finding a spare in case cleaning is only a temporary fix.
