I have found a gears shop willing to cut the two gears on this part to the OEM specifications. The cost will not exceed $200. This post is to solicit interest in joining a group purchase which I will arrange. Please let me know of interest via PM by Tuesday, 6 Nov.

Background: This carriage drive pinion has been damaged or significantly worn on many TL lathes considering they are all 70+ years old. Ray Lawler of Lawler Gear Corp has agreed to cut the teeth on blanks that I will provide pre-machined to fit his tooling. To spread out the set-up cost, it makes sense to arrange a group purchase. Material will be hardened 4140 to avoid heat treatment after gear cutting and should perform as well or better than the OEM.
