Turn power on, drop and torque quill, xyz move, send home, z first, ok , y next, ok, x last , moves to switch dog stops and sets position, display tosses "commanded X axis move too far positive"
Can anyone give me an idea why it would toss this error?
For background we recently purchased this machine but it had taken a beating in shipping, mother board bmdc card both replaced, all components were aquired from BPT in Ct. and programmed ready to go (except for backlash comp.) Confidence is relatively strong these are good.

I went into the parameters and found the travel settings for the X,Y & Z were all at zero, adjusted them to X 32.00", Y 14.5" and left the Z at zero, any input on this setting? I think the quill travel is supposed to be 5.00" but not sure, I no longer get any X or Y errors, when it gets to drilling position it tosses the same error bot for the Z. if I set the drill program to 0 for the Z specs it runs the program completely ( w/o quill mov't) any input will be greatly appreciated.
