Makes me sick...I had some hint it was coming, but not this soon. Anyone know how old he was ? Should I remove his moderator name or leave it up for awhile ?

Jim was too young for this. He knew his situation when he took on the job, never asked for favours. Why not just leave it up for a while?

Maybe not as long as Jon Postel's ghost remained listed as active "contact" for SMTP, but he'd been its prime-mover from Big Bang, so.
Day might come you still have to lock the odd thread for no valid description in topic title from off-planet yerself?
You didn't really think you could ever QUIT this damned job, didja?

Won't be fast or easy to replace Jim, either, and there isn't much pressing need yet.

Sure hope you have a lotta miles left inyah, too. PM's garden kinda goes to weeds when you're off doing other stuff for too long.
