I'm trying to identify an older Bridgeport mill that my father had for years before recently passing away. Attached a few photos of the mill and some nameplates; any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Also, any thoughts on determining the condition of the mill based on its age? Thanks!

The milling head is called a Model M or 'M head'. When first introduced it was called a "Master" milling, drilling and boring attachment.
Collets for this milling head are hard to come by so if there is a set keep them with the mill.
This head is no longer manufactured.
Here is an image of a variable speed head mounted to the same base casting.

Age has NOTHING to do with condition !! Seem 2 year old machines worn past repair and 100 year old ones still in very good condition. Use and care or lack of same tells the tale.

Thanks all for your help with this! Unfortunately I think I will have to sell it - I don't have a place for it, not to mention the mill is in FL and I live in RI. Any thoughts on how to sell something like this and what the value would be?
