VMC 1000 door switch

I have a vmc 1000 2500b control,with a door switch problem, all inputs to the control are good, but control still allows machine operation in all states.
is there a user parameter to control switching this function on and off

I ran a VMC 1000 several years back. When the machine was delivered the "male" half of the switch was just stuck into the other half that was mounted. Basically mechanically bypassing the switch. The "male" half was never removed to mount on the other door.

Thank you for your help.

the machine is turning the signal to the control on and off but the control is not out putting the inhibit signal.
either the plc is corrupt or there is a user parameters written in to the ladder that I do not know of.
