You may need to work in your own "User Control Panel" to aid in viewing all the threads in this forum and other forums. It is much more apparent in the "slower moving" forums like this one without the large posting volume of General or General New.

Click "User CP" at the upper left.

Then "Edit Options"

Then scroll down to the box with "Thread Display Option" and to the bottom selection "Default Thread Age Cutoff".

Change that selection to "Show All Threads" and Save Changes at the very bottom.

This should help solve your viewing problems :)

new to forum environment

In viewing the thread "Where are all the threads?" I noticed that the posting date was from 2008. I have noticed this at other times also, where a thread will have an old date but is still in sequence with current threads. Would someone please explain this to me?

I found the appropriate controls under "Forum Actions" > "General Settings" in the gray bar upper middle.

I guess it changed in 8 years. :)
