Have any of you used Cad/Cam software by CamSoft ? If so how is your liking ?

I have not used CamSoft but there is a lot of really good CAM software out there. I guess you would have to tell us what you are going to be doing with it.

Looking for an easy to learn system for lathe work.We have Gibbs mill but can't justify $4000.00 to add for the lathe option.The majority of our parts are very simply and nothing complicated.No live tooling.

I have used Cimitron, MasterCam, WorkNC, and some Catia. I found that I like WorkNC the best but it is not the cheapest and I don't know if they have a lathe package anyway. Of the ones I listed above I think Mastercam is probably the cheapest. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Camsoft's AS3000 was the first cam system I bought back in '96. They also stopped any further development of their cam software just before I bought it, so it is basically dead software.
