Hi all,

I have questions about my very simple Solidworks designed part, can you see any major mistakes in design?
Any suggestions to make it better?

Part will become to turbobike intake runner with two 42,0mm x 2,0mm NBR70 O rings and will be welded to plenum.
Throttlebody will be cut to right size in lathe.

It looks fine to me. Make sure the oring fits and profiles are correct. You'll need to spec internal corner max on your drawing.

Thank you!

Grooves are 1,55mm deep and 2,40mm wide, fillet radius is 0,5mm. It should be in spec.
What you mean by "spec internal corner max on your drawing"?

Is this part being machined in a manual lathe or a cnc lathe?

If it's in a manual lathe, do you have the cutting tool with the necessary profile to cut those O-ring grooves to that shape?
