Hey folks,
I am new-ish to fusion and I am trying to figure out how to get our VF2 to prefer 1 axis over another. The trunion is probably too big for the machine so it has to sit sideways, which means, anytime there is a negative move in the "C" axis the trunion swings toward the operator and he can no longer see the part he is working on.
So, with the combination of fusion machine setup, and the post editor can I limit the C travel to positive only? or maybe a few degrees negative.

Do a search for "range" in the post and look for the following...

attachment.php

Adjust these values next to range to your needs.

Try adding it in between "axis" and "cyclic". Something like "range:[-1, 360]". Ensure to use a comma etc to match the punctuation.

Please make sure you are careful when you are messing with post testing (rapids really slow, z axis away from bed, no tools in spindle, etc).

thanks!
I tried that and it seemed like it was going to work but then I realized that I had the axis backwards in my head. The A axis is my cradle swing, so I do have the range option. I adjusted it and seems like it solved the problem.
Thanks again!
