    I personally think MCX is a pretty good all around cad/cam package. Is it NX, Creo...? No, but you can make solids, you can modify solids, draw, dimension (although agree dimensioning sucks pretty much).

    I could have easily done this on a Fadal 20 years ago justing using the built in macro language which was esentially Mbasic.
