Metacut utilities or something similar?

Hello all, I used to use a program called Metacut or Metacut utilities by Northwood designs. Haven't used the program for about 6 months but its darn handy for doing one offs and g code editing. It lets me visualize the cuts while it has a g code editor open. Mine has stopped working due to some windows update lately. Just went to their website and its no longer up. Is there a free or cheap simplistic program like Metacut?

I might be misremembering, but I think the Metacut was pretty much like a Vericut-Semi-Lite, fairly well done simulator that used a reverse post processor for simulating 3D toolpaths even.

Well, not nearly that sophisticated, but certainly THE best money spent for editors is: NcPlot

NCPlot is a great editer and backplotter, and will emulate MACRO B. It will not do cut simulation however.
