Optimize cutting path/range until retract

There is an issue with cutting path extended outside of the part in NX CAM. Can anyone enlighten me on how to optimize the path. I was hoping that the cutting tool retract straight after cutting finish the part, instead of it extend outside of the part.

You did not mention the type of operation you are using. There are toolpath extension options for pretty much all of the 3-5 axis operations and the boundary driven path have some options too. In general, aside from the cutting extensions you control engage/retract in Non Cutting Moves. That is where you can fully control engage, retracts, transfers, smoothing, start points and more.
