Solidcam program transfer

When I generate a program in solidcam how do I then get it from my laptop into the Mazak (vtc 200C)
Is there some software I need on my laptop, if so where can I find this for free if possible.

When you generate code solidcam will make a file with some extension particular to mazak (.nc or .cnc or .mazak - have to ask mazak people.)

Then you transfer that file to the machine like any other file.
