    Default SolidWorks 2018 question.

Just had 2018 installed. When I'm in a sketch and draw a closed shape, circles, it shades the inside of the shape like it has material there. Can this be turned off?
    Thanks

I was not trained on Solidworks (CATIA is how my brain works) however you should be able to control everything you see on the screen. Try starting with the training sessions on YouTube, they are awesome. I find I learned the most when I hit a roadblock.

Turn off "Shaded Sketch Contours". You can find it by searching commands in the upper right corner.
