I am working on a piece that I want to use coreless to open up a hole so I don't have a slug. But when I post the code it doesn't output a g41/g42 is that normal for coreless? If not what are some ways to fix this? I have machine compensation option on and have even tried system compensation but doesn't make a diffrence.

Coreless is considered roughing in most EDM programming circles. Add a contour to finish so you can use cutter compensation.

In Mastercam I usually use a pocketing routine with true spiral leaving 5k in x and y. As lock nut said add a countour at the end as a spring pass...or 2 I usually measure in between.

I'll also go for the gusto and leave a core with a small tab. If you are holding it good enough you can knock it out with a few taps...I also use neodymium magnets to hold the core from floping...a full cut can also be achieved that way, just don't break the wire and have it go to the beginning lol.
