M4 Machine is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to assist in CNC job shop production in Livingston, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operation of CNC machinery (Haas and Doosan mills and turning centers) for production, including loading tools, monitoring production, and part inspection
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery in order to keep a safe and clean shop environment
- Use and understand precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc) while interpreting engineered drawings, models, and blueprints to inspect parts
- Contribute and provide feedback on lean and continuous improvement initiatives; work with our team to minimize downtime on equipment by effectively reducing inefficiencies in process and production

- Responsible, reliable, and punctual
- High school diploma or equivalent and US work authorization
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of CAD/ CAM programs, especially Fusion360
- Knowledge of G-code and programming fundamentals
- Experience in quality control, production, engineering, or manufacturing/ maker setting
- Desire to learn programming and machine shop best practices
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suites
