CNC Shop Manager - Greater Boston, MA

We are a small but rapidly growing company looking for the right individual to take over as manager of our machine shop. Until recently, this position was filled by one of the owners of the company. However, due to our recent expansion we now need a full time person dedicated to overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing and machining operations. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and hard working individual to jump in on the ground floor and help us rise to the top.

The right candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Supervision of product production
Coordination of workflow / Lean manufacturing
Ability to manage other employees
Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes / mills
Ability to set up and operate manual lathes / mills
Ability to read drawings and produce parts from those drawings
Experienced with CAD/ CAM
Working knowledge of G-Code / Ability to manually edit programs as necessary
Working knowledge of tooling / speeds / feeds
Great communication skills
Detail oriented
