Job Opportunity: Machinist/Lab Manager in HigherEd [Worcester, MA]

The Chemical Engineering Department located on Worcester Polytechnic Institute's (WPI) campus in Worcester, Massachusetts is looking for an experienced Machinist/Lab Manager. We are looking for an individual with a strong sense ownership, bias for action, and high standards. Applicants must also have expertise in operations, programming, as well as lab management, preferably in a higher ed setting. We are looking for applicants with expertise in teaching and research laboratories, maintaining organized machine shop(s), and hands on experience working with faculty and students. Applicants will also be responsible for acting as a resource for the department(s) of Chemical Engineering and other affiliated departments, including Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Biomedical Engineering, as well as act as safety liaison for the Department of Chemical Engineering with Environmental Health and Safety.
