I hated to do it but it’s gone. I practiced on the cadaver to learn how to work on the patient (with rear controls) in the shop. I pulled the spindle, all the bearings, a pile of gears and learned a lot tearing it apart. It’s a sad day when it’s worth more in scrap than someone would be willing to pay for it.
