I need to replace the cross slide nut on the turret side (right) I have the Threading unit off, but looking at the end of the shaft from inside the feed unit, It seems to me that the feed unit has to come off, that means the vertical drive shafts and their gear box, which has the counter weight cables . Am I going to have to lay this thing on its back? Any info on how to get the horizontal shaft out of this thing would be most welcome.
