I just bought my first horizontal mill . I was looking running some wire and wondering what this knee motor hp would be? The spindle is a 10 hp and coolant is 1/4. It’s a 1972 Cincinnati milicron. It looks in good shape. It didn’t come with over arm support, I may look into making some.

Hi Jaddy,

Just curious how the progress is coming on your mill? I too have recently acquired a Cincinnati horizontal mill and am curious what challenges you have come across thus far.

This is my machine. Can you post some more photos of your machine when you get a chance?

Cheers,

Moving is the biggest challenge. Got it inside the door ( forklift mask wouldn’t fit under my door) now I’m having to makes some skates to push where I need it. Other than that I’m collecting wire and fuses it’s wired 480 my shop is 240. I need to find a book or information fluids. It’s bigger than I wanted, but it was $500. Somethings my Bridgeport is not beefy enough to handsome jobs.
