The well-used Type A arbor support on my Cinova 80 won't lubricate the arbor pilot, so I removed the sight glass to investigate. The muck in the bottom of the reservoir suggests that it's been sitting unused for many years. After cleaning out the goo, I can't find the wick that's supposed to feed the oil. So it's time for a replacement.
Anyone ever done this job?
The Cincinnati parts and service manual doesn't include any description of the process, just this illustration.
Does the wick (item 21) extend into the split of the bronze collet bushing (33)?
What size and type of wick - I'm assuming it's a fairly low density felt?
Do the tube (17) and plug (18) have to be removed from the arbor housing to insert the wick?
