Cincinnati MAXFORM 135MX-8 bend dimensions off across bed

We recently purchased a new maxform 135 with an 8 foot die bed. Cincinnati sent a tech to come in and set it up and everything seemed to be working fine. Lately, however, we have noticed that we are getting some crooked bends. We went back through and meticulously aligned the die bed with the ram, although this didn't seem to help much. we also re-machined both back gauges to be 100% identical dimension-wise, and then changed the gauge files to reflect the changes in dimension, but this also had little to no effect. The back gauges have been calibrated numerous times throughout this process as well.

What we are seeing is about a 12k difference between the right most and left most end of the press, using one back gauge. more interestingly, we are seeing varying degrees of inconsistency across bends that use both back gauges.

My theory is that the press is using some sort of coefficient to determine where it places the back gauges independently of one another, and something is wrong somewhere in the math. I can't seem to figure out where the problem is, or even what variables it is using or what math it is doing to determine back gauge locations.

has anyone seen or experienced anything like this before? an entire robotic cell is currently sitting idle while we try to resolve this.
