Good Day.
Thank you for accepting me to your group.
We have a Cincinnati Mill No5P and we lost feed on it. The raped movement still works in all axis but no Feed.
As I'm not a hydraulic fundi I'm limited to what I know.
The machine was running and then stopped to feed.
I did change out the oil and oil filter with new oil.
I did see in the manual the 2x ports on the left of the machine to see oil pressure and they are 100%. Our machine have the motor on the right, if I understand correct its for your feed and rapid movement. The spline Shraft(4AK-109) on the right does turn but I have noticed as soon as I engage feed it will slow down then stop. X-axis I see I have loads of backlash (Will sort this later) as this turns and as soon as it runs out of backlash the Shraft stops to turn.
Any advice will be appreciated .
