I recently had an axis drive replaced and since then the machine has been making this god awful noise at specific locations on the X axis it also changes depending on the position of the Y axis. The housing where the bearings are vibrates like billyo.

I’m thinking of several things at could be causing it.
Thrust bearings
Servo motor giving up
Servo motor needing tuning but that might mask a mechanical issue.
Although parts that have been coming off have been dimensionally okay.
The machine has linear scales in the X and Y.
The picture is the drive that was replaced.
