Hello, i have got my cincy #2mh horizontal mill working perfectly expect for i have no power feed due to the fact that the PO owner started to disassemble it.
my issue is that i cant figure out how to remove the power feed box on the left side of the mill. it is hung up by the vertical shaft that comes from the transmission side cover down to the sump area, and along the way, has a straight cut gear that im guessing powers the power feed box assembly. here are a few pictures,
My question is- Do i have to remove the side cover plate where the transmission speed levers are located? and if so, will anything fall out? and can i just put it back together when im done?
