Hi! I have a horizontal mill- it's a Cincinatti Cinova 80 307-14, and have some questions (I know very little about this machine)

1. The spindle is hydraulically controlled?
2. Anyone know what the spindle hyd. oil spec is?
3. I assume the filler neck below the spindle speed control is for this oil?
4. Do you just fill until you see oil in the filler neck?

Thanks,

Your spindle is engaged by the spindle start which in turn engages the pully bracket clutch plates. Spindle stop is engaged by the spindle lever and this engages the stop clutch plates. On the left side of the column, top lmiddle, there is a oil flow glass to see if the oil is flowing. It should have P - 55 medium hydraulic oil. On the left side of the knee, is there a glass oil level, middle bottom. Fill that with P - 55 to the fill mark in the glass sight gage.. On the left side of the column, bottom right, that is the knee screw oil fill spot. Fill it to the right spot on the glass. About a quart. P - 63 oil there.
