Greetings,

I'm going through cleaning inspecting/repairing a K&T 2Ck that I recently acquired and don't seem to be able to make sense of this "extra" stuff.

more K and T 004.jpg motor with shaft running forward

more K and T 003.jpg gearbox with some kind of limit switch

more K and T 002.jpg connected to a piece under the pedestal

more K and T 001.jpg this brass column has the nut and is keyed to the outside foot, doesn't turn so what does it do?

If someone could enlighten me would be great. Thanks.

the brass thing is threaded on inside it looks like... is that a way to power feed the knee up an down by rotating a rod that goes into it?

Alright, that makes some sense if the foot is on a cam it could lower for the rapid return a specific amount, hence the adjustable limit switches. It sure haden't been used in a long time everything was gummed up or stuck. But, not anymore! Thanks.

The screw is geared at the top but I think we got it figured. It seems to sit on a cam for the foot that raises and lowers an adjustable amount for the rapid/automatic return.
