Late square head Pacemaker- Where is the headstock oil pump?

My 14" Pacemaker is slow to pump oil and doesn't flow much. Anyone know where the pump is? I'd like to check the pickup and wouldn't surprise me if it needs rebuilt.

On the end of input shaft on the earlier ones - right where it needs to be. When the input shaft is running (clutch engaged), so is the oil pump

Thanks John. Probably safe to assume it's in the same location on the square heads I suppose?

No problem pulling cover if that's it. Just didn't want to pull it off to find it was down in the bottom somewhere.

Seem reasonable to me.

Here is a later job - at least some tray removal to see pump
