Hello Newer member long time lurker. Wondering if anyone of you guys could help me figure out the serno on the following machine.
Its a French built Toolmaster MT
The metal ID plate has the following
Cincinnati Milacron - Villefranche, France
Type TM-MT Serno 5J1F52F-71 (the 5 could be a 6 hard to tell) followed by a printed 19 then a stamped 73/1 (almost indicating a year, 1973/1
And an obvious stupid question, If its french built, does that automatically make it a metric machine? how can I tell if it is when I go see it, if it is in fact metric. I have never used, nor seen a metric machine with metric dials. Is it painfully obvious?
