We have a Gorton 2-30 vertical we use as a production mill but now it needs a part. I am also posting on the gortonmill yahoo site.
The machine is switched between High/Low spindle ranges by a switch on the front that activates a servo/clutch that is now toast. It is not a repairable part so I am looking for either a NOS part or someone with a parts machine. The part I need is E-3155.
I cannot get to it well enough for a decent photo but I can tell you it's special to this machine and not something that can be replaced by an off the shelf item.
