I have done a job on both the 28 inch Rockfod and the 6 inch P&W and I was surprised that the P&W has more table travel or the job was a better fit on that little machine. I must say it was a real pleasure to use the P&W you don't have the noise of the hydruilic pump on the Rockford.The P&W is a US Navy machine from WW 2. So for a machine that is 75 years old just got to shake your head a dream what it was like New .
