As the title says I am looking for a Van Norman chuck with threads of 2.25" by 12TPI to fit on a Van Norman 10" dividing head.
If anybody out there has a lead on one please either PM me or email me at haroldmulder(at)hotmail.com
Thanks

Harold

Harold, I know this is an old thread; but allow me to ask for an update. Let me begin with wondering which dividing head (DH)you have there: Of course I would love to see pics! It is the spec of 2.250 x 12tpi that has me most curious. This got me to looking. See, I have the 7 1/2" DH that uses a 1.875 x 12tpi & the 10" vertical that has no threaded provision. So, I went & looked. Does this look correct to you?

To be honest I'm not sure anymore. Just went out and looked at the dividing head and that item is not there. Here is another picture showing the item. It reminds me of a small pin/awl device that sits in the hole in the middle of the bolt. I might have to do a better cleanup of the shop to see if I still have it.
