Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, or if it needs to be moved sorry.
I have a Winona Van Norman SM100M Surfacer for cylinder heads/engine blocks. I bough it from a guy in Ohio, and on the way home to Florida the actual table top slide off and on the highway. Picked it up and got it home and cleaned it up and it is somehow in pretty good shape.
Everything seems to be working, except that the table does not traverse like it should. There is a motor on the back that should automatically turn the wheel to move the table traverse along the X axis. I can see the motor is actually spinning the gears on the back, but the handle and table are not moving. Has anybody had this happen to them or any experience on this?
I know its not a problem with the table falling off the machine as the table is an entirely separate unit from the rest of the machine...so it didn't fall and snap or break anything other than itself.
