I purchased a 20x54 Powerturn SN 44117 w/taper attachment today. In preparation for rigging it into my shop I’d like to verify it’s weight. The seller is guesstimating 9500 lbs based on how their fork truck handled it, I thought I had seen 8500 somewhere on the internet.

If anyone can verify a weight that would be very helpful.

As an aside, I feel like I found a unicorn. The machine was rebuilt 10 years ago and since then had occasional work making steel and aluminum shafts at a custom machine company before being replaced by CNC equipment. It was used by one machinist in the shop who sounds like he was fairly protective. The lathe is coming with 3 & 4 jaw chucks, a dro, steady rest, Aloris style tool post, and taper attachment.

Somewhat older 20" "standard" Model X was 7600 (30" centers) and 400 more for each additional 2 ft between centers. I'd fully expect the PT to be heavier
