Weight of morey slotter, 1943, 8 inch

I have to move my Morey slotter, would be nice to know weight, I put it in 30 years ago with a big forklift now it was to be moved out, if under 5k I will use overhead crane... if over big problem , no way to get the fork back there a lot of other machines in the way,..... thanks Phil

I'd guess in between my 12" P&W at 8400 and the 6" P&W which is 4600

Its about the same size as a 6 inch PW but a better machine with rapids and 9 inch stroke, I had a delema, sell the Morey and keep the PW or sell the new PW 6 inch and keep the Morey... The Morey won. I have using it for 30 years and still was like new and the PW will bring more money so it was put up for sell. I made lots of tooling for the Morey that would have to be converted to fit the PW, and I knew the Morey quite well after using it for 30 years.....Phil
