Has anyone cut aluminum with 40% silicon carbide in it . I cant seem to find any tools that hold up . Does it like light cuts, heavy cuts . I am using Mastercam dynamic milling not having any luck .I am trying DLC coating Diamond Like carbon coating to see if that holds up . It just where's the tool edge down . It doesn't chip the tool more just rounds the cutting edge over . Any help would be greatly appreciated .
