    Well, I just got back from touring a major medical device job shop. They've got Haas VMC's with trunnions as far as the eye can see. They must be good for something.

    I also don't know if the part that OP listed would fit in that. It looks as if he is currently only able to make the part because he is fixturing it above the structure of the trunion itself. Can he make a tool change if he does this on that? His problem is the machine he has is to small. buying a machine with similar sized trunion will not likely resolve that. The M460 has much larger beefier trunion/table at ⊘400mm v ⊘250mm. Okuma does not have the spec for table weight capacity on their splash page for the machine, but I'm willing to bet it can hold my weight, probably more than twice over, that Matsuura MX-330 cannot (today I learned I weigh over 80kg). I certainly can see value of the Matsuura, it's looks great for surgical/smaller Aircraft parts, how is their support in your area and what might it be like in mine?
