    Ya i definitely couldn't find any of the screws I wanted in that material. 7075 no prob.

    This place claims to have 7068 1 inch bars in stock in Chico CA. No price listed

    Wurth in Europe stock aluminum cap head bolts, they are good quality and i personally use them in motorsport applications that don't require TI or steel.

    they are about as tough as low-quality steel bolts. if we are talking about 5 or 6 m5's holding a disk on a mountain bike I would go for it TBH, but they would be checked very closely for torque and regular checks after fitting for any failures.

    I treat them as a throw-away item, they only get done up once, if they get taken off then they go in the scrap.
