    Default Air dryer question.

I got a used Hankison HIT-50 air dryer from a friend in a trade it is a refrigerated dryer. I have never had an air dryer before and have only used water separators. I have some questions I usually turn off my compressor at the end of each day and drain the tank. I am assuming I need to turn off the air dryer also but do I need to let the dryer run for a while before starting the compressor? I did not get any paper work with the dryer and can't find any real owners manual that covers the question on their web site.

There might be a “best practice” I don’t know about but we always just turn the dryer on right before starting the compressor and off right after stopping the compressor and it never seemed to give us any trouble.
