so i have a chevalier 1830MB with an anilam 3300M controller, circa 2000. until now ive been able to do most all of my parts using the conversational controller. id like to move into uploading a program from a pc, but i cant seem to find enough information about it. honestly i need a kindergarten level step by step procedure of uploading a fusion generated program from my pc using the RS-232 port.
my questions are, but are not limited to:

1: is there a certain way that i need to save the program? prefix/suffix, folder location?
2: how do i get my controller to acknowledge that there is i file to be used?
3: ive heard of some guys trickle feeding large programs into controllers that have smaller memory capacity. is this necessary?

i have tried to use a floppy disk to load a program, but again, i didnt know how to get the machine to recognize the floppy. id like to stay away from floppys if possible given theyre slightly outdated (this coming from a guy using a cnc machine that is old enough to vote lol)

any input would be appreciated. thanks in advance
