Anilam canned program help

Totally new to CNC.
Just learning my machine and it has an Anilam 3000 3 axis control on a vertical mill.

I have been testing out some canned cycles and it is fairly straightforward to input the info, getting the info correct is not so easy.

The question is can I edit a canned program after writing it? In particular if I input the data and then run a test and something is not quite right (Z to low etc) I have to input all the info again. Is there a way to fill out the canned cycle page with the existing program info? Or a copy and paste kind of thing?
I have the manual and can’t seem to find anything that helps with this problem quite yet anyway.

I have lots of other questions but this would get me going faster on running test programs to learn.

Thanks
Michael

The question is can I edit a canned program after writing it?

Hello Michael,
Yes. To edit an existing program block:

1. In Edit Mode, highlight a block.

2. Press ENTER if the existing block is a move or cycle. The appropriate
graphic menu opens.

3. Highlight the entry fields that require changes.

4. Make the appropriate changes. Press Save (F10) to close the block.

Regards,

Bill

Bill,
Thank you very much!
So simple but it eluded me.
I think the manual writers’ assumed that there are no mistakes on data entry.....
The info may be there somewhere in the manual and I am sure I will find it now.
