Any info on Mikron HEM 500U ~ 2013

Hi guys,

I'm looking into two Mikrons HEM 500U from 2013 that are at as low as 1000 spindle hours.

Does anyone had any experience with them?

Both machines are with Heidenhein 530.

One of them is 3+2 axes and the other is 5 axis simult.

Please give some info if you know something .

We have the Mikron 500 3 axis and the 600U 5 axis, same control. Both machines are Excellent! The StepTec spindle is fantastic, we are still on our original one on the 500, not sure the hours but it's years old and still purrs like a kitten. The 5 axis is still too new for an overall opinion, but so far it's been fantastic.
