Anyone scrapping a Fadal VMC15? I need an enclosure...

Hey guys!
I have a VMC10 which came with no enclosure (wasn't built with one) and I want to add an enclosure to it... Anyone scrapping a VMC15 or know of someone who is? I'm looking to buy an enclosure if possible!

Anyone know if there are other Fadals that had the same size enclosure? VMC20, VMC2016L, etc...

Hi Aaron that maybe a tall order but good luck. I guess you are tried of the mess without one?

scour canadian kijiji weekly, all provinces I've seen them show up

As a data point . My VMC 20 enclosure is 74.5” wide by 46.3” deep

Yeah, at this point I am starting to prefer that all the chips stay IN the machine!

You've seen scrap machines show up? Or enclosures?

Aaron, i would imagine the castings would have holes for mounting the sheet metal.
Have you considered have something fabbed? Might be money ahead.

Yeah the base has threaded rods welded on as anchor points for the enclosure, and the column has some tapped holes.

If I'm not able to find an enclosure off another machine I will definitely have on fabbed up! I just figured if someone was scrapping a machine then the enclosure wouldn't be worth much to them!
